I did it again. I overcommitted and made plans in advance, and now the time has come for me to follow through on these plans and I am OVERWHELMED. 

 

But someone else just asked me to help them with a project, or to attend their birthday party, or to pick my brain about how to grow their business.

 

If I cancel or if I cannot help, aren't they going to be disappointed? Are they going to call me a "flake?" Will they think I'm a bitch?

 

People pleasing is a TRAP. Come with me as I explore how this taught behavior that is seemingly entwined with my personality creates MORE problems than it helps. 

 

I'll share some stories, some scripts, and some lessons I've learned and hopefully it resonates with you too!
